Madonna Ranch mares and foals by Elizabeth Hay of Bakersfield, California, was one of the photographs selected for this year's American Quarter Horse Photography Show.

The American Quarter Horse Association invites you to attend the 2017 American Quarter Horse Photography Show at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum in Amarillo. The show opens on October 27 and runs until November 25.

Earlier in the year, AQHA hosted a photo contest, encouraging all AQHA members to submit photos of an American Quarter Horse. More than 1,000 entries from all over the world were received, and AQHA and Museum staff selected more than 100 to be displayed in the 2017 American Quarter Horse Photography Show. The pieces work together to show the versatility of the American Quarter Horse. From barn scenes to riding to racing – there is something for everyone!

A selection of the photos will also be showcased in the 2018 AQHA Calendar. Calendars will be available for purchase through Quarter Horse Outfitters by October 27.
